My name is Adrienne A. Garber and I am an educational technologist at the Columbia Center for New Media Teaching and Learning (CCNMTL). We have four locations on campus: the Faculty Support Lab, Lewisohn Hall, Butler Library, and the Armory at CUMC (the medical school campus). Let me know if you would like a tour of our space!

Since 2005, I have been involved in technology research projects at Carnegie Mellon University, the EdLab at Teachers College and Columbia University. I am a doctoral student at Teachers College, studying multimedia learning, gesture-based computing, and human computer interaction, as applied in corporate training and professional education.

Garber.jpgI earned my B.S. from Lehigh University, an M.S. from Carnegie Mellon University, a J.D./M.B.A from Duquesne University, and most recently, my Ed.M. from Teachers College, Columbia University.

I am excited to be working with you during the UNICON @ CBSEE conference and look forward to sharing CCNMTL's insights about ed tech in higher education with you!
